So today is day 3 of continuous iv fluids through the PICC and my kidneys and bladder sure are appreciating it! Being stuck to the pole is however annoying, and I can't wait until later today when its time to shower and be disconnected for awhile. Meanwhile the nausea has been better during the day, as long as I stay sitting. I have basically sat outside in the sun for the past two days soaking up some vitamin D which I desperately needed! Night time is cruel however, as the nausea hits in full force after dinner. And I'm only able to drink about 12 ounces of liquid a day, but that is better than the few sips before! Anyway, I am going pretty stir crazy and can't wait to go out somewhere, can't wait for my visitors this week either for some company! I'm also very grateful to the family and friends who have been helping us out with housework and keeping the kiddos from driving me nuts, stress makes the nausea worse...and thank you to my hubby who has been very sweet and is being my nurse at home helping me change bags and flush the PICC when needed. I love you!

One day at a time...
Ok, update on status. I have hyperemesis gravidarum which basically means severe nausea and vomiting during pregnancy to the point of dehydration and weight loss. A week ago I was hospitalized for four days, and now I am starting home health for iv fluids tomorrow. I'm basically stuck at home resting while little one cooks inside...I'm not bitter, I'm grateful he/she is doing well in there, I'm just bored and tired of being sick and tired! I will definitely update more often now though, and hoping more of my Facebook friends will decide to blog, its so much easier to stay in touch this way, and much more personal.

Cleaning House is a DRAG.
So, I really don't like cleaning my house. It is just not fun for me. ;) Any tips on how to get your kids to pick up after themselves??? It is rediculous at our house, I really need a MAID.

TIRED, TIRED, TIRED
Did I mention that I am TIRED??? And I really would love it if someone else could come and do the housework for awhile. I just can't keep up. I need to be more organized or I am going to drown. Christmas was great, the girls had a blast opening presents, I'll post pictures later of course. We are now trying to clean the house, prepare for the garage sale this Saturday, and get our 'toy/homeschool' room ready ASAP. Oh yeah, did I mention that I am going to be homeschooling Kylie effective immediately? I was going to wait until the start of the next school year, but she begged and pleaded so we took her out over the Winter break. We are very excited to begin a new way of learning, and a little nervous too. But I believe God has had this planned for me, I have been thinking about it since she was in kindergarden. I really didn't see any reason to hold off any longer seeing as how the public school system is being run by a govenment that I believe is failing. I want my children to learn about Jesus and God, and I want them to be free to read their bibles and pray every day. I also want to be the one to teach my kids real history, not history that is being edited in textbooks by the government to be socially and culturally sensitive. I want them to learn that our great country is based on Christian beliefs. I also am just tired of losing Kylie for 7 hours a day even when I am home which is every day since I work nights. If I could stay at home and not work I would for sure, and maybe sometime in the future we'll be able to afford that. Anyways, enough rambling...until next time!
